Supporting children with SEND @ Orchards Infant School
Welcome to Orchards Infant School, where inclusion is at the heart of our mission and ethos. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our commitment to inclusivity means that we celebrate the diverse abilities of all our students, ensuring that each child feels valued and respected.
We implement robust assessment and intervention strategies tailored to individual needs, fostering an atmosphere where everyone can learn and grow together. Our classrooms are designed to be accessible and engaging, with adapted resources that meets the varied learning styles of our students.
Collaboration with families is essential, and we provide feedback during parent meetings to keep you involved in your child’s journey. For additional support and guidance, Ms Kelsey Martin (SENDCo, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Assistant Headteacher) is available to discuss how we can best support your child.
Please contact her at kmartin@orchardsinfant.school for further information.
At Orchards Infant School, we believe in the power of inclusion and we strive to create a community where every child can reach their full potential and is celebrated as an individual.
